Troon North

Unfolding over 1,800 acres of some the finest Sonoran Desert, Troon North captures the essence of desert living like no other semi-private, luxury golf community in Arizona. From the beginning, Troon North was designed to appeal to a wide variety of homeowners whether they’re looking for an easy-in, easy-out vacation townhome with low maintenance or a sprawling estate where nothing but the best will do. Troon North has four internal communities with several designed for family life with parks covered in green grass, fun playgrounds and other areas perfect for the next adventure.

Desert Community

The Troon North community broke ground in 1989 with a goal of seamlessly integrating the homes and other facilities with the surrounding natural desert in a way that celebrates and enhances the active, outdoor lifestyle. Trails run around and through the community allowing residents to walk, hike or bike for exercise or just to enjoy the unique desert environment they call home. The hiking trails that lead to the summit of Pinnacle Peak also provides scenic opportunities to enjoy incredible Valley views, and community amenities such as swimming pools and spas allow them to unwind after the trek.

Championship Golf

The cornerstone of the community rests on its two championship-level courses: Pinnacle and the Monument. They both have received tons of awards and accolades from industry-leading publications, as well as acclaim for the design duo of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. In fact, both courses made Golf Magazine’s list of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play. Troon North residents may opt to become members of this semi-private golf club or not, but everybody in the community benefits from the spectacular golf course views and the unique milieu bustling with local wildlife and native flora. The golf courses weave their way around, over and through some of the most dramatic terrain in Arizona. Immense rock formations, towering Saguaro Cactus and native desert arroyos provide equal parts strategic intrigue and aesthetic charm.

After a memorable day on the golf course, residents are treated to another Troon North superstar – the 36,000-square-foot clubhouse. Loaded with everything one might expect in a high-end public facility, the clubhouse moves way beyond a place to pick up a sleeve of balls, it’s the hub of activity with the Dynamite Grille, Golf Shop, locker rooms, Callaway Performance Center, and ample special-event space. The immediate area also offers a host of dining and shopping options, and the North Scottsdale location is within an easy drive to the Valley of the Sun via the loop 101. Schools For families, the Cave Creek Unified School District offers a fine education without going far from home. Desert Sun Academy, Sonora Trails Middle Scholl and Cactus Shadows are all very well established as fantastic learning establishments.

Residents of Troon North have exclusive membership rights to its non-equity, semi-private club.
